July, get ready, for a super-duper-end-of-summer-season 50th birthday
Meet Market bonanza!!!! Thats right, on the 6th and 7th of July, we'll
be celebrating our 50th event with our biggest Meet Market to date, at
<<Technopolis>>, City of Athens. We'll be both indoors the
«Μηχανουργείο» and outdoors in the yard with over 150 stands of local
creations and innovations from our regular favorite faces, and plenty of
new vendors too, from 15:00 - midnight each day.
And
because its a special Meet Market, we'll also be hosting some special
activities, including a 3D printing installation from Ant3D Lab, an
interactive workshop on how to recycle your old junk into new fashion
from Yiuco, and face painting & interactive games for our little
friends... so make sure you bring your kids along. And as always, we'll
have non-stop dj sets from Athens finest djs to soundscape the weekend,
and very special gifts at the tameio for all those who come to play...
so make sure you come by... for a stroll, for a shop, for a mingle, for a
drink, for a gift or just to celebrate with us, because quite frankly,
we couldn't have done it without all you visitors, participants and
collaborators! YEAH!
The Meet Market:
A 2 day celebration of the entrepreneurial spirit... A nomadic market
place of local goods, fresh ideas and friendly folk. An audio-visual
jigsaw of handmade & independently designed clothes, accessories,
art, objects, organic body products, home ware, tasty food, vintage
& retro collectables, records, interactive games, free prizes, dj
sets and good vibes.
